Philatelic History of The Civil War with 92 covers in a Collectors Album. The most important Civil War events are visually brought to life by the artwork of Mort Kunstler---the Master of American historical artists---in the Philatelic History of the Civil War.

These Commemorative Covers (there are 92 of them) include a historic U. Stamp paying tribute to one of the significant events of the Civil War, an important U. Postmark bearing the event's exact anniversary at the site where it occurred, and dazzling full-color artwork by Kunstler. "Philatelic History of the Civil War" is in an official, specially constructed loose-leaf binder that holds all the stamp envelopes for the series. It includes 50 pages of soft clear plastic liners, each holding two envelopes with a short history of the battle or event.

This is a terrific binder, even if used to hold other FDC or historic envelopes. These stamps were released over a 5 year period to correspond to events they represent from the Civil War. There is a history of each battle represented along with the artwork which is featured on the stamped envelope.

All in all a beautiful representation of Civil War events. This is an interesting and colorful project which should be in every collection.
